Laika departs from the inherent static nature of digital typefaces, inherited from their lead ancestors, and includes an infinity of weights, stroke contrasts and serif lenghts as long as it’s not printed. Laika is associated to a program that controls its behaviour based on any kind of input—even the biorythm of a geranium. This fantastic experiment is the work of Nicolas Kunz and Michael Flückiger.
This blog is more of a notebook, a random collection of things I find inspiring, that make me feel like experimenting and exploring.
